COMMUNITY PROJECTS

ROLLIN(G) STONES

The Théâtre Jacques Tati is located in the Pierre Rollin district of Amiens, a priority area for the city's urban policy. The district will undergo urban redevelopment over a six-year period: from 2020 to 2026. Under the guidance of the Théâtre Jacques Tati, Superamas, in collaboration with local and national artists, will develop an artistic project - Rollin(g) Stones - over two seasons (20-21 and 21-22).

The aim of the project is to support local residents through the transformation of the area, which will affect housing (demolition of two buildings), public spaces (square, green areas), administrations (town hall), shops, roads and parking areas, and cultural and sports facilities.

It is essential to forge links within the community of residents, to encourage more harmonious communication between residents and decision-makers, and to mobilize local players to take ownership of the project and make constructive proposals to improve it.

The Rollin(g) Stones project has the capacity to help involve local residents in the choices that affect them. Its aim is to generate a positive dynamic with regard to the changes to come, and to encourage the pooling of individual and collective energies.
