IN A SEARCH FOR WE

In a Search for WE, a project initiated by Magdalena Chowaniec and Valerie Oberleithner, reflects on the shared future of contemporary Western performance art. It looks at the art scene as a whole, while seeking solutions adapted to local contexts. The project develops and exists in modules, hosted by various institutions, festivals, organizations and individuals.
The Manifesto In a Search for WE, which forms the basis, invites contemporary citizens not only to rethink the current situation, but also to re-enact it, here and now. The Manifesto addresses society and encourages the search for alternative ways of living together and collaborating, as alternatives to the capitalist system.
